Dr. Debra A. King, is a Certified Teacher of English to Speakers of Other Languages, a Certified Grants Specialist,Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor that grew up in Birmingham,
Alabama in a home where books were very common. She is the fifth of six daughters born to the late Mr. James King and Mrs. Margaret King. Dr. King developed very early in life a love for learning and an appreciation of information as a way to grow and gain experience. She fondly tells people that she was carrying a briefcase when she was five years old. Dr. King chose to develop her interest in learning by majoring in education and pursued three degrees in education; two were in special education fields. To date, her experience includes teaching undergraduate students in education and psychology, graduate students in education, adult non-traditional students and supervising Master’s and Doctoral Level counseling and Education Interns. Dr. King is the founder of International American English Programs (IAEP) and has traveled to Nigeria, Hong Kong, the Philippines, France, Spain, Canada and Russia on educational tours, English teaching programs, bible teaching programs and psychology lectures. Also Dr. King’s dream is to continue using her God-given skills, talents and gifts by writing her weekly newspaper column, publishing books and articles, developing tools to aid professional counselors and therapists, travelling and gaining additional experience in new people, countries and cultures.
Bernell King Ingram is a professional coach, trainer, language and intercultural coach, author, speaker and president of Visions International LLC, a professional coaching and training company and the parent company of International American English Programs (IAEP). Bernell partners with global corporations, executives, entrepreneurs, professionals, non-profit and Christian organizations to equip them to exercise best practices of communicating and relating in an intercultural environment. Bernell is a native of Greenville, South Carolina, USA, a thriving region in the Upstate (northwestern corner) of South Carolina known as one of the fastest growing regions in the United States with over 245 international companies, top-ranked business climate, world-class research environment and a splendid quality of life. When the question, “what do you want to be when you grow up?,” was first posed to Bernell in the third grade, immediately Bernell answered, “a teacher”. Globalization has influenced Bernell’s vision to teach; shaping her as a 21st century teacher in a classroom without walls across cultures, continents and age levels in education and industry. Bernell has over 10 years experience in teaching, training, entrepreneurship, business development, strategic planning, business operations and intercultural communications and relations. She is a graduate of Coach U, Inc. and pursuing professional coach certification with the International Coach Federation (ICF). Bernell earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Japanese and International Trade from Clemson University, Clemson, SC and is a Certified TESOL/TEFL/ESL Teacher Trainer.
Mrs. Rebecca Moore, raised in an army family who travelled, is married to Dr. Jeff Moore. Dr. Moore lived in Belgium until going away to college in the USA; the couple met in Europe. Rebecca lives an international life in every way possible; she became a certified TESOL instructor in 2008. From homeschooling her children to providing opportunities for international travel and cultural experiences, she is very involved in multicultural activities. She is the mother of two biological children and four children from other nations. One daughter is from Romania, a son is from India and two daughters are from Haiti. At the present time, while busy with her family and teaching dance , Mrs. Moore is working on a Master’s Degree in Social Work at the University of South Carolina.
