Our Curriculum: Our curriculum is based on the Common
European Framework (CEF) ‘can do’ objectives. Students can measure
their progress using the logically structured lessons with ‘can do’
objectives Students will get lots of grammar and vocabulary practice
which is all thoroughly reinforced in the ‘Reference’ and ‘Review’
sections at the end of each unit Students can learn good study habits
with the Lifelong learning boxes If students miss a lesson they can use
the innovative ‘catch up’ CD-ROM that has lots of extra practice
material.
Our Method: We use a highly communicative methodology infused
with a personable approach, cultural literacy and exposure. We focus on
the four language senses of speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
Maximum exposure to the language and cultural environment and
concentration on core language and cultural competencies enables the
client to listen, think, and respond in the language thus creating more
natural speech and interaction. Our language coaching is an integrated
model based on the latest research and proven methodologies. Our Approach to Language Coaching: We are TESOL/TEFL/TESL Certified Teachers and Trainers partnering with companies, executives, business professionals, expatriate families and students to help them reach their language and intercultural goals and aspirations for business and personal life and educational requirements.
International American English Programs (IAEP) takes a coach-approach to language training allowing the client to co-create the language learning plan. The language coach identifies strengths, weaknesses and ensures that the client stays focused. Clients set goals and priorities thereby, creating relevant course content and applicable skill development. We use a highly communicative methodology which creates more natural speech and interaction. Coaches
are proactive and take initiative in exposing clients to the cultural
environment outside the classroom through social, business and cultural
events. Our training is an integrated model based on the latest research and proven methodologies. Proficiency Evaluation Standards are based on the Council of Europe’s "Common European Framework of Reference: Learning, Teaching, Assessment", which describes the levels of proficiency required by existing standards, tests and examinations in order to facilitate comparisons between different systems of qualifications. The Council of Europe has developed a European Framework with common reference levels. These six levels are an interpretation of the classic division into basic, intermediate and advanced: Basic User: A1 and A2, Independent User: B1 and B2, and Proficient User: C1 and C2.
